本リストは，吉田・吉永 (2010) を基に北山・鈴木が改変したものです (2015.3.31)。主な変更点は番号をつけ，リストのあとに列記しました。吉田・鈴木・吉永 (2015) を参考に修正を行いました (2017.12.24)。
＊1 Harper & Saunders (2002) はアクロカエティウム科の属を葉緑体の数，形態とピレノイドの有無などによって定義しました。彼らによると，オージュイネラ属（Audouinella）は淡水産種のみであることから，オージュイネラ属に含まれていた海産種は全てアクロカエティウム属（Acrochaetium）とコラコネマ属（Colaconema）に移されました。本リストでは，Harper & Saunders (2002) とGuiry & Guiry (2010) に従うとともに，属の検討が成されていない種については，吉田（1998）の記載を基にして所属を決めました。アクロカエティウム科の属の範囲については，今後更なる検討が必要と考えられます。
＊2 Stegenga (1985) は，Acrochaetium densumをA. catenulatumのシノニムとしています。
＊3 Norris（2014）に従い，Audouinella microscopicumとA. secundatumをオージュイネラ属（Audouinella）からアクロカエティウム属（Acrochaetium）に移しました。
＊4 Hwang & Kim (2011) に従い,Audouinella sanctae-thomaeとA. terminaleをAudouinella属からAcrochaetium属に移しました。
＊5 Kitayama (2009) に従い，Rhodochortonopsis spongicola YamadaをAcrochaetium spongicola Weber-van Bosseのシノニムとしました。
＊6 Harper & Saunders (2002) に従い，Liagorophila yamadaeをリアゴロフィラ属（Liagorophila）からアクロカエティウム属（Acrochaetium）に移しました。
