In the Tsukuba District, our museum’s Department of Botany conducts research on the evolutionary diversity and phylogenetic classification of all living organisms, excluding animals.
About Our Researchers
The Department of Botany comprises the Division of Land Plants, the Division of Fungi and Algae, and the Division of Plant Diversity and Conservation, with 17 researchers conducting studies in their respective fields.
