The Department of botany currently comprises Division of Land Plants, Division of Fungi and algae, and the Division of Plant Diversity and Conservation, with 17 researchers conducting research in their respective fields. Research activities at the botanical garden are managed by the Division of Plant Diversity and Conservation within the Plant Research Department.
