Volunteer Activities

Botanical garden volunteers play an active role in a variety of activities, including guiding visitors, maintaining the garden, and assisting with educational programs. At special exhibitions and events, volunteers often take a leading role in organizing and running activities. Volunteers are recruited every few years and are registered after completing appropriate training. They can be recognized by their light blue vests or yellow shirts.

Garden Tours

On Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, volunteers guide visitors primarily to see plants that are at their seasonal peak. In addition to the regular tour starting at 1:30 PM, tours can be arranged upon request. Please feel free to speak with a volunteer at the Orientation Building.
(Please note that regular tours may be canceled due to weather conditions or other events.)
